“Good to hear from you. The FS8 torches are good. A few points from me:
- The portability, size and battery life is excellent.
- I note the double battery version does not get hot like the single battery version
- The central beam is great in the shed but not so good when you want to take photos, as the central beam shows up.
In the field, I would prefer a consistent beam strength, rather than a focused centre (but do not want to lose any light strength). I overcome this by holding two FS8 torches together.
If you have a more powerful version, I would be very interested. How does the FS12 compare to the FS8 and what are you selling these for? A wide angle beam version sounds excellent.” (Mining company, Qld)

I spent 3 nights using the torch in Andamooka SA and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The batteries lasted the expedition each night and I still had the fully charged spare batteries in my pocket each night at the end.
Your torch was absolutely amazing and it paid for itself on the 1st night with what I found in the noodling piles. I will display it all with pride.
I had the time of my life.
This was my 1st time opal hunting and I am glad I spent the extra money on your quality torch. (Worth every cent)

There is a bit of cleaning and polishing to be done on the rocks and opal found.
