The new Fluoromins FT2 Chameleon* is a first. A professional three-in-one multiwave UV torch.
It will be a great asset for fluorescent mineral collectors, jewelers, gemologists and more.
The FT2 is basically three powerful filtered UV torches in one body. In the standard version the three torches are SW (UVC 255nm), MW (UVB 310nm) and LW (UVA 365nm). The SW and MW torches are identical to our FS2 and FM2 models respectively. The body is high grade aluminium.
The UV “heads” can be unscrewed and replaced by other heads including white, 270nm, infra red and more. So you can create your own version, such as SW, LW and White.
At any time you can have one, two or three UV heads operating together. The Long Wave torch can be set to Very Bright or to a brightness similar to the SW and MW torches. This enables two-wave or three-wave viewing and photographing.
It comes with three quality 21700 batteries, built-in USB charger and USB C charger cable. (21700 batteries are 21mm diameter and 70mm length).

* The Chameleon (AKA “Cerberus” in USA) has been developed by friends of mine in the US and Europe who are all members of the worldwide UV fluorescent minerals community. We are the Australian distributer for it.
