FL2 is a favourite with many people. It is conveniently sized and quite powerful. I used it for years until larger torches became available.
FL2 takes one 21700 battery. When you are out searching for fluorescent minerals it has a range of up to 5 metres depending on how fluorescent the minerals are.
It uses one 21700 battery, but you get two in the Kit, so when one needs charging you can put the other one in and keep on searching.
