Prolonged exposure to Short and Mid Wave UV light can cause eye and skin irritation. If you are using SW or MW for an extended period of time you should protect eyes and skin. Our UV-blocking glasses block greater than 99% of UV. If you wear ordinary glasses with plastic lenses, they will block UV, but some may sneak in from the sides.
