The FS8 Short Wave Torch is a general purpose medium power SW torch. It can be used in the field, but does not have a very wide reach, just a few metres depending on how strongly the minerals fluoresce. FS12 is much more powerful.
It uses two 26650 batteries. The Kit includes two spare batteries so you can keep using the torch when the first pair need recharging.
