The “e” stands for extension. These torches are the same as FS8 and FM8 except they have an extension allowing them to take 2 batteries, hence doubling the time between charges.

The brown sleeves allow 18650 batteries to be used instead of 26650 batteries. They do the same job but don’t last as long between charges.
